H. Eldritch

Wanders the fringes of indie folk, dirty electronica and arena rock, lead by London-based singer/ songwriter and producer Harry Houseago, an ornate and expressive lyricist, genre-blending producer and virtuosic fingerstyle guitarist. Add to this his voice shapeshifting seamlessly from intimate and ethereal to strikingly powerful and impassioned, and you have h. eldritch.

Harry has had whirlwind 2023, most notably being invited to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival where he and the band ended up playing four different sets, including opening up the famous Strummerville Stage. This coincided with the release of the single ‘Amateur Anthropology’ which was championed as Wonderland Magazine’s ‘New Noise’. Through the rest of the year h. eldritch and their thrilling and dynamic live show joined the lineups of multiple ‘Pub In The Park’ festivals around the UK, sharing stages with Sam Ryder, McFly and The Hoosiers, as well as headlining London gigs at The Bedford, Balham and Signature Brew Taproom in Haggerston. Live, h. eldritch becomes a power trio with the addition of drummer and percussionist Oscar Reynolds and multi- instrumentalist James Hill on bass guitar, upright bass and seismic synth.

In November h. eldritch released the dark and mystical ‘Innocent Sinner’, the project’s most definitive artistic statement yet, combining playful lyricism with Harry’s signature flourishes of ingenious fingerstyle guitar and a cinematic chorus. ‘Innocent Sinner’ was lauded by tastemakers like It’s All Indie, CLOUT and Plastic Mag among many others, and as a sign of things to come from Harry, expect 2024 to be extraordinary.

h. eldritch gives you the ghosts and the machines.

Chloe-Marie Aston

My name is Chloe Marie Aston and I’m a singer from North Devon. I started going to a club called Star Train in Barnstaple at the age of 6, unfortunately the lady who ran it became ill and the club finished. I then spent about 6 months at Platform 2 in Bideford before finding the perfect club in Ilfracombe called Make the Move. During my school years I was also part of the school drama group called Stage Right. I enjoy dancing and acting but I enjoy singing the most. I have always wanted to be a singer through my childhood I have always loved the song Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid. When I was 7, I got the chance to sing it in a talent show at a holiday park which I won. I have been involved in many shows in various venues including the Landmark Theatre and Exeter Cathedral, shows included Seussical the musical, Dr Dolittle and Beauty and The Beast where I stared as Belle. At 11 I played the part of a young girl in “Dead Famous” at the Ilfracombe Parish church. In 2021 I played my dream role of Ariel in The Little Mermaid at The Landmark Theatre.
